Important Update to DBS process for volunteers

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has initiated a change in the process for volunteers seeking to renew their DBS certification. This change is affecting all volunteers across the country, not only those involved in cricket. To support Cheshire clubs, CCB have produced the attached guidance note. Please share this with your Club Safeguarding Officer(s) and volunteers ASAP.

All clubs are encouraged to log into the Safe Hands Management System and complete any actions ahead of the new season. This includes removing those volunteers who are no longer active and adding any newly appointed officials.
